The Pi Car: Neutrinovoltaic Mobility

The Pi Car is the Neutrino Energy Group's concept for a vehicle that charges from ambient radiation via neutrinovoltaic materials, rather than relying solely on plug-in charging.

The Pi Car is the Neutrino Energy Group’s concept for an electric vehicle that draws energy from ambient radiation through neutrinovoltaic materials, with the goal of reducing or removing the need for conventional plug-in charging. It is presented here as an applied-research concept.

What is the idea behind the Pi Car?

The concept integrates the group’s graphene–silicon material into the body of a vehicle, so that the large available surface continuously harvests energy from its surroundings. In principle, a car that tops up its own charge while parked or driving would change how electric mobility is powered. The concept is described on the Pi Car page.

How does it connect to the wider programme?

The Pi Car applies the same neutrinovoltaic principle as the Neutrino Power Cube at vehicle scale, governed by the same Schubart master equation: more active surface means a larger active volume in the power relation.

What stage is it at?

It is a development concept within the group’s roadmap, set out in From Physics to Technology, Part 5. This site documents it with attribution as applied research.
